Our journey began in 2011, born from a simple yet powerful idea conceived in the tree stand during a quiet hunting trip. Faced with shoulder and back problems, our founder Dave Bastian realized the need for a reliable way to stabilize his crossbow. This moment of necessity sparked the creation of what would become Slide Shot™.

From Concept to Reality

In the early days, our Dave was taking a CAD class and decided to design a solution for his own hunting needs. Through countless hours of drafting, prototyping, and refining, the first Slide Shot™ was developed. Originally made from cabinet drawer slides and repurposed shooting sticks, Slide Shot has evolved to ASA, aluminum, and stainless steel. Our commitment to innovation and quality has driven us from the start, ensuring each product is tested rigorously before it ever reaches you.

Our Family Business

Slide Shot™ is more than just a product; it’s a family endeavor. Based in Alma, Michigan, our family operates out of a dedicated workshop in our garage, where we use commercial 3D printers to produce multiple parts simultaneously. This hands-on approach allows us to maintain the highest standards of quality and precision. Our mission is to enhance the hunting experience for everyone, making it safer, more accessible, and more enjoyable.
